Our client is a leading operator of food and beverage brands with over 60 yrs experience in the industry. Due to increased business demands we are recruiting on their behalf for an Assistant Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a challenging environment which will allow you to demonstrate your management skills while being afforded the opportunity to further develop your experience to date. This is a varied role and will include compiling staff rotas, stock management, and all other cost controls. You’ll be managing, motivating and developing your team, ensuring compliance with brand standards, legal and statutory requirements, reviewing sales and performance against KPI’s and holding team meetings to communicate objectives and targets and supporting the Manager in all aspects of the operation.
The following Key Skills/Experience are ESSENTIAL
At least 18mts previous experience of managing a team of people in a high-volume, fast-paced, quick service restaurant or catering environment.
Proven knowledge of the standards and structured processes required to work within a globally recognised brand and experience of achieving successful audit results.
An awareness and previous experience of the financial controls including driving sales, controlling costs and P&L.
Proven experience in motivating and developing a team
Customer focused approach and effective communication skills at all levels.
A flexible approach to your work, with varying shift patterns including evening and weekends

Salary - £20k-£24k + Bonuses
