Description
Main responsibilities:
1. To set up dining room and pantries in preparation for the serving of Breakfasts, morning and afternoon coffees/teas, lunches, suppers and snacks
2. Providing room service for residents and guests by way of refreshments when required
3. To wash up and store all crockery, cutlery and other utensils
4. Assisting with general kitchen duties when required
5. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the dining and community areas
6. To assist with the preparation of special functions when needed
7. Preparation of meals for residents i.e. breakfast, sandwiches and snacks
8. To serve meals and drinks to the residents
9. Any other ad hoc duties and required by the Home Manager
PERSON SPECIFICATION

EDUCATION/ Food Hygiene certificate
QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE/ Experience of working with the elderly advantageous
KNOWLEDGE:

Ability to prioritise, work and deal with a varied range of tasks in an efficient manner
Well presented
